This is a fully renovated duplex apartment in Courchevel La…
73700 Bourg-Saint-Maurice, France
This is a large 5-bedroom detached house, built in 1955, in a sunny village just above Bourg St Maurice.
It’s a short drive to the centre of town and to the funiculaire to Les Arcs and Paradiski.
The house has around 140m²of living space and comprises:
An entrance lobby, a separate fitted kitchen, a nice 35m² living room with a fireplace, and patio doors out to the garden. The kitchen and living area could all be opened up to make just one big area. There is also a double bedroom and a large shower room with a WC on this floor.
Upstairs, there are 4 double bedrooms (11 m²- 12 m²- 15 m²- 15 m²) all with storage, a bathroom and a separate WC.
The property has a 600m² garden and a gated front drive large enough for 2 cars.
The house is in good condition but could do with refreshing in terms of décor. It is in a quiet location at the entrance to a small village but is also in a great location for the winter and summer activities that are popular in the region as well as being just a short drive into the main town.
Bourg St Maurice is a lovely traditional mountain town at the foot of Les Arcs ski resort. It offers access to some of the best skiing in the country for all levels of ability, although it does have one of the longest black runs in Europe. All types of winter activities are catered for too, including cross-country walks, snow boarding, climbing and so on. In the summer months the town is a magnet for cycling enthusiasts as it often forms the base of a stage of the Tour de France. Hiking, walking, mountain biking, climbing and many other outdoor activities are available too.
Due to the popularity of the alpine resorts, getting to Bourg St Maurice from the U.K. couldn’t be easier. There are buses provided four times a day from Geneva airport, and the TGV from Paris and the Eurostar from St Pancras come right into town.
