St Jean de Belleville is a typical Savoyard village located between Moutiers and St Martin de Belleville at the heart of the Belleville valley. The ski lifts – shops bars and restaurants are in St Martin de Belleville just a few kms from the village. In winter people come to the village for peace and quiet and skiing. In summer there are great walks from the village and lots of hamlets to discover. The area is very nature friendly and you will often come across wildlife.

Moûtiers is known as the gateway to the 3 Valleys ski resorts, and also has links to Paradiski and Valmorel. It is an attractive and interesting town that has many historical and cultural features, with the river Isère flowing through its centre.  The town benefits from a pleasant climate and features snow in the winter and glorious sunshine in the summer. There are many leisure activities to enjoy, apart from the alpine sports in the winter, including swimming (outdoor and indoor), mini golf, rafting and other white-water sports. There are hot springs in the nearby spa town to be enjoyed too, and there are numerous festivals held in and around town throughout the year.
