There are hot springs in the nearby spa town to be enjoyed too, and there are numerous festivals held i n and around town throughout the year.

The town is two hours from Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble airports. Access is very easy by road — the town lies on the RN90. The TGV comes right into town and is a ski special destination linked directly to Eurostar from England.
